Dr. Calvin Ellison is an Author, Naturopathic Doctor, Certified Nutritional Consultant, Radio Host, Global Wellness Trailblazer and Marriage and Men's Advisor. He is the Founder of several Networks: the Kingdom Advancers Network of Churches and Businesses, Heirs Together Marriage Enrichment Network, the Vibrant Living Group, and the Men’s Empowerment Network. He has also served on the Farmville, NC Economic Development Council, the North Carolina Institute of Medicine Committees, the North Carolina Mental Health Task Force and the Community Outreach Network Board of Eastern NC.
While pastoring for 20 years, he was a constant presenter at Community Colleges, Universities, and Businesses on various topics from Health and Wellness, Community Engagement, and Personal and Professional Growth. He has worked with such groups as the NC Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities (as its State-Wide Coordinator of 2 Health Programs), the Town of Farmville, NC as a Health Consultant, the National Kidney Foundation, the Healthy Start Foundation, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Women's Health Branch, Health Departments, Community-Based Organizations and Local Churches. Further, he initiated two Regional Initiatives while in NC: the East Coast Restorative Academy ( ECRA ) for Men and the Community Empowerment Network for Community Engagement that engaged National and Local Politicians, State Agencies, Colleges, and Universities.
He is the CEO of Ellisons Consulting Services LLC ( www.doctorcalvinellison.com ), host of the Vibrant Living Radio Show and Co-host of the Ellison-Gibson Radio Talk Show. Dr. Ellison is also the Founder of the Men Magnifying Manhood Movement and Co-Founder of the Women Magnifying Womanhood Movement. Additionally, he is the VP for Community Affairs for the Atlanta Black Chambers of Commerce.
Dr. Calvin Ellison is the author of five books and co-author of five national publications. Together he and his wife have ministered in ten different countries. They have been married for 36 years and have three children and seven grandchildren.
