Bro. Stan Smith is a Graduate of  Upson County High School/ now known as Upson-Lee, in Thomaston, Ga. Bro. Stan is Married to Iliganoa Smith, he has 9 children and  8 grandchildren. He is a Veteran of The U.S. Army, having served overseas in South Korea, Germany, and Stateside in the  24th Infantry Division  Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart, Ga. He also served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm- Gulf War. Bro. Stan is a member of the New Lincoln Park AME Church in Thomaston, Ga. where he currently serves on the Trustee Board, his past positions in the Church include Sons of Allen President, Sunday School Superintendent, Steward, and Sunday School Teacher. Bro. Smith also served as the Macon North District Sons of Allen 2nd Vice-Chair, 1st Vice-Chair, and Macon North District Coordinator. Bro. Stan has also served his Community, in numerous Positions, he was Local President of The Democratic Party of Upson County, President of I.S.S.U.E.S. Inc. (I’ll Solve Situations Using Ethical Solutions), Regional Director for The Georgia Clients Council( Columbus Region) consisting of 26 counties, which he covered, and Public Relations Officer for The Gentleman Action Club. Bro. Stan currently serves  The Sixth Episcopal District  African Methodist Episcopal Church State of Georgia as the State Coordinator for  Sons of Allen Men in Ministry, which consists of over 500 Churches, throughout this Wonderful State. Bro. Smith was appointed this position in July 2016, in Savannah, Ga. by The Current Presiding Prelate Rt. Rev. Reginald T. Jackson, Our Great Bishop.
